Abandoned, Ctd.

love this stuff, especially when there's no rush to tear it down.
In what limited travel I've done there, the south leaves abandoned buildings stand longer than up north.
Summer '74, on the cusp of entering high school I first visited Alabama/Florida and there were loads of abandoned juke joints and service stations, most with giant red Coca Cola orbs. I begged my mom to let me take one ("nobody would miss it!"); in hindsight her refusal to let me was the right thing for a parent to do, dagnabbit!
